MITTENS (MAKE 2)
With color A, make the Magic Ring
Round 1: Ch 3 (count as 1st dc here and after), 11 dc in the magic ring, sl st to join. (12 dc)
Round 2: Ch 3, dc in the 1 st, (2 dc in same st)x 11, st sl st to join. (24 sts)
Round 3 (for small size only): Ch 3, (2 dc in same st, dc 3)x 11, dc 2, sl st to join. (30 sts)
Round 3 (for large size only): Ch 3, (2 dc in same st, dc)x 11, 2 dc in same st, sl st to join. (36 sts)
Count the next round as 1st round.
Rounds 1-7 (7 rounds): Ch 3, dc around, sl st to join. (30,36 sts)
For Large size only, Rounds 8-10 (3 rounds): Ch 3, dc around, sl st to join. (36 sts)
Count the next round as 1st round.
Rounds 1: Ch 3, (FPdc, BPdc) x (14,17), FPdc, sl st to join. (30,36 sts)
Fasten off and cut the yarn. Weave in all the ends.
CHAIN (MAKE 2)
With color B, make a 15-inch-long chain.
Fasten off and cut the yarn.
EMBROIDERING THE EYES
Use the black cotton yarn. Make 1 st, spanning over 3 sts, between Round 4 and 5 of the Mitten, keep 3 sts difference between both eyes (see photo in downloadable PDF).
EMBROIDERING THE MOUTH
Continue working from the Eyes, make a loose Horizontal line, in Round 5, spanning over 4 sts.
Make a Vertical line over the previous st, between rounds 6 and 7.
Fasten off and weave in all the ends.
