At KnitPal, we want you to feel confident when shopping with us. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
Returns
We accept returns of unused products within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- Unwound and free from signs of use
- In their original packaging with labels attached
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Yarn Returns
Yarn may be returned if it is:
- Unused
- Unwound
- Clean and in resalable condition
- Returned within 30 days of delivery
For quality and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of:
- Used yarn
- Wound yarn cakes or balls
- Partial skeins
- Yarn missing original labels
- Yarn damaged after delivery
Kit Returns
Craft kits may be returned within 30 days of delivery if:
- All components are included
- The kit is unused
- Packaging is in good condition
If a kit includes access to digital patterns, tutorials, or downloadable content, the digital portion of the kit is non-refundable once access has been redeemed or downloaded.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos showing the product and packaging
We will work with you to provide a replacement, store credit, or refund when appropriate.
Color Variations
We make every effort to display yarn colors as accurately as possible. However, colors may appear differently depending on your screen, device settings, and lighting conditions.
Minor color variations between online images and the actual product are not considered defects.
Dye Lots
We strive to ship matching dye lots whenever possible. However, dye lot availability cannot be guaranteed.
If matching dye lots are important for your project, we recommend purchasing the full quantity needed at the same time.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- The item arrived damaged
- The item is defective
- We shipped the wrong product
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as KnitPal is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow:
- 3–5 business days for return processing
- Additional time for your bank or payment provider to post the refund
Exchanges
At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different color or product, please place a new order after your return has been approved.
