Cut the yarn and start working with another color. Join the yarn in the ch sp where you made the previous sl st.
Round 3: {3dc in ch 1 sp, ch 1, (3dc, ch 2, 3dc, ch 1) in ch 2 sp}x 4, sl st (36 sts)
Stop here for size S.

TRIANGLES (MAKE 2)
Use 3 colors in the random sequence of your choice.

JOINING

Sew 6 granny squares in a 1x6 panel. Once done, sew both sides of the panel together. This is Panel A.
Sew the front and the back panel in the center of Panel A.
Sew the remaining 6 granny squares in 2 1x3 panels. These are Panels C and D.
Sew these panels to the bottom of the front and back sides of Panel A.
Sew the triangles in the center of Panels C and D on both sides.
HEM
With Color A, attach yarn to any stitch in the hem.
Hem: (sl st in 1st st, sk 2 sts, 7 dc in same st, sk 2 sts) rep around.
Fasten off and cut the yarn. Weave in all the ends.
LACE EDGE ON NECKLINE AND SHOULDERS
With Color A, attach yarn to any stitch in the neckline.
Lace edge: (sl st in 1st st, sk 2 sts, 7 dc in same st, sk 2 sts) rep around the neckline and shoulders.
Fasten off and cut the yarn. Weave in all the ends.
STRAPS
With double strands of Color A, attach yarn to lace edge keeping the gap balanced between both straps.
Make 2 straps at the front and 2 straps at the back of the neckline.
Chain a length of 10(15) inches.
Fasten off and cut the yarn. Weave in all the ends.
