ARMS (MAKE 2)
Use MC (Blush Confetti).
Round 1: 6sc in a Magic Ring. (6 sts)
Round 2: Inc around. (12 sts)
Rounds 3-6 (4 rounds): Sc 12. Stuff the arm up to this point.
Round 7: Sc 5, dec, sc 5. (11 sts)
Round 8: Sc 11.
Round 9: Sc 4, dec, sc 5. (10 sts)
Rounds 10-13 (4 rounds): Sc 10.
Cut the yarn and fasten off.

LEGS (MAKE 2)
Use MC (Blush Confetti).
Round 1: 6sc in a Magic Ring. (6 sts)
Round 2: Inc around. (12 sts)
Round 3: (Sc, inc)x 6. (18 sts)
Round 4: Sc 18.
Round 5: (Sc 8, inc)x 2. (20 sts)

Stuff the leg.
First leg: Cut the yarn and fasten off.
Second leg: Do not cut the yarn. You are going to work the body from the 2nd leg.
BODY
Use MC (Blush Confetti).
Continue from 2nd leg.
Round 1: Sc 12 in second leg, sc 24 in first leg, sc 12 in second leg. (48 sts)

Rounds 2-11 (10 rounds): Sc 48.
Round 12: (Sc 6, dec)x 6. (42 sts)
Round 13: Sc 42.
Round 14: (Sc 5, dec)x 6. (36 sts)
Round 15: Sc 36.
Round 16: (Sc 4, dec)x 6. (30 sts)
In the next round, you will be crocheting the arms onto the body. When indicated in the pattern, flatten the arm and insert your hook into 2 opposite sts on the arm, then insert your hook into the next st of the body, yarn over and draw a loop through all 3 sts and complete a sc. Repeat across arm (5 sc total).

Note: You want the arms to be on the sides of the body. Adjust their position for your Kitten if necessary.
Round 17: (Join first arm) sc 5, sc 10 in body only, (join second arm) sc 5, sc 10 in body only. (30 sts)
Round 18: (Sc 3, dec)x 6. (24 sts)
Round 19: (Sc 2, dec)x 6. (18 sts)
Stuff the body. Cut the yarn and fasten off.



EARS (MAKE 2)
Ear Pieces (Make 4):
Make 2 pieces with MC (Blush Confetti) and 2 with CC (Pink Sorbet)
Work in rows.
Row 1: Ch6, skip 1 ch, sc in each st ch, turn. (5 sts)
Row 2: Ch1, sc 5, turn.
Row 3: Ch1, dec, sc, dec, turn. (3 sts)
Row 4: Ch1, dec, sc, turn. (2 sts)
Row 5: Ch1, dec. (1 st)
Cut the yarn and fasten off.

Lay 1 CC (Pink Sorbet) piece on top of 1 MC (Blush Confetti) piece and join MC yarn to a bottom corner, through both pieces, with a ch1. Working intothe sides of each row, through both pieces, sc around to the other bottom corner, making an inc in the top point (see photos next page).
Fasten off, leaving a long yarn tail for sewing the ear to the head.
TAIL

Round 2: (Sc, inc)x 3. (9 sts)
Rounds 3-8 (6 rounds): Sc 9.
Rounds 9-11 (3 rounds): Sc 2, sl st 5, sc 2. (9 sts)
Rounds 12-14 (3 rounds): Sc 9. Stuff the tail.
HEAD
Round 8: (Sc 6, inc)x 6. (48 sts)
Round 9: (Sc 7, inc)x 6. (54 sts)
Rounds 10-17 (8 rounds): Sc 54.
Round 18: (Sc 7, dec)x 6. (48 sts)
Round 19: (Sc 6, dec)x 6. (42 sts)
Round 20: (Sc 5, dec)x 6. (36 sts)
Round 21: (Sc 4, dec)x 6. (30 sts)

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing the head to the body. Insert the eyes at Round 11, 8 sts apart. Stuff the head.


DRESS
Use CC (Pink Sorbet). Work in rows.

Row 1: Ch26 (keep last ch loose), skip 1st ch, (2dc in next ch, dc 2)x 8, 2dc in last ch, turn. (34 sts) In the next row, you will create the arm holes.
Row 2: Ch1 (does not count as a st throughout), 2dc in next st, dc 5, ch4, skip 4 sts, dc 14, ch4, skip 4 sts, dc 5, 2dc in last st, turn. (28 dc + 8 ch)
In the next row, work into the dc sts and ch sts (of each ch-4) from Row 2.
Row 3: Ch1, (dc 2, 2dc in next st, dc 3)x 6, turn. (42 sts)
Row 4: Ch1, (dc 3, 2dc in next st, dc 3)x 6, sl st in 1st st to join. (48 sts)
Continue dress in joined rounds.
Round 5: Ch1, (dc, ch1, dc in same st, skip 2 sts)x 16, sl st in 1st st to join. (16 v-sts)
Rounds 6-7 (2 rounds): (Work in ch spaces only) ch1, (dc, ch1, dc) in each ch-sp around, sl st in 1st st to join. (16 v-sts)
Rounds 8-10 (3 rounds): (Work in ch spaces only) ch1, (dc, ch2, dc) in each ch-sp around, sl st in 1st st to join. (16 v-sts)
Cut the yarn and fasten off. Weave in all the ends.
BIG FLOWER
SMALL FLOWER
Use CC (Pink Sorbet). Round 1: In a Magic Ring, (ch3, sl st)x 5. (5 petals) Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing the small flower onto the big flower.
Sew the small flower to the center of the big flower.
ASSEMBLY
ATTACHING THE EARS
At the top of the head, with the eyes facing forwards, mark 2 opposite sts in Round 2 of the head with sewing pins (see photo below). Mark 2 more sts in Round 8 of the head, in line with the previously marked sts in Round 2. These four points (two on each side of the head) are where the ears should be attached.
Pin the ears in place and sew each on between Round 2 and Round 8 of the head. Secure each yarn end, then hide them inside the toy.

Sew the flower to the front of the dress using the yarn tail from the big flower.
Dress the Kitten and sew the back of the dress closed with CC (Pink Sorbet).
