Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Using a tapestry needle, thread the yarn tail through each st of the last round and pull to close. Hide the yarn end inside the Body.

Cut the yarn and fasten off. Weave in the end.

2nd-8th Tentacles:
Attach yarn to the next st in Round 6 of the Upper Body.

Repeat Rows 1-12 of 1st Tentacle.

Cut the yarn and fasten off. Weave in the end.

LOWER BODY & TENTACLES

ASSEMBLY & FINISHING

JOINING THE UPPER AND LOWER TENTACLES

With the same color yarn, join the Upper and Lower Body/Tentacle pieces together. Start with a slip knot on your hook. With wrong sides facing each other and the Tentacles matching up, insert your hook into the side of Row 1 of one of the Upper Tentacles, then into the side of Row 1 of the matching Lower Tentacle (see photos in downloadable pattern PDF), draw up a loop, and make a sc through both layers. Continue making sc into the side of each row, through both layers (12 sc total), inc at the tip of the Tentacle, then sc down the other side of the Tentacle (12 sc). (26 sc for entire Tentacle)
Stuff the Tentacle.

Using the same technique as the 1 Tentacle, join 6 more Tentacles. st Stuff the Body, then join the last Tentacle.

Cut the yarn and fasten off. Weave in all the ends.
