    Round 1: 8sc in a Magic Ring. (8 sts)
    Round 2: Inc around. (16 sts)
    Round 3: (Sc, inc)x 8. (24 sts)
    Round 4: (Sc 2, inc)x 8. (32 sts)
    Round 5: (Sc 3, inc)x 8. (40 sts)

  • ch: chain
  • BPdc: back post double crochet
  • dc: double crochet
  • FPdc: front post double crochet
  • inc: increase (work 2 sts (single or double crochet) stitches into the same stitch)

Round 1: Ch 2 (count as 1 dc here and after), 1 dc in each remaining st, sl st. st (66 sts)

Round 2: Ch 2, (FPdc, BPdc)x 32, FPdc, sl st (66 sts)

Round 3: Ch 1, (shell st)x 11, sl st. (11 shell sts)

Round 4: Ch 2 (count as 1st dc), 4 dc, (sc in 3rd dc of shell st of previous round, dc 5 in sc st of previous round)x 10, sc in 3rd dc of shell st, sl st in 1st st. (11 shell sts) 

Round 5: Ch 2 (count as dc), (sc in 3rd dc of shell st of previous round, dc 5 in sc st of previous round)x 10, sc in 3rd dc of last shell st, 4 dc in sc st, sl st in 1st dc. (11 shell sts)

Rounds 6-14 (9 rounds): Repeat Rounds 4 and 5, end on Round 4.

Round 15: Ch2, 1 dc in each st, sl st. (66 sts)

Round 16: Ch 2, (FPdc, BPdc)x 32, FPdc, sl st. (66 sts)

Cut the yarn and fasten off. Weave in all the ends.
