Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Using a tapestry needle, thread the yarn tail through the front loop of each st of the last round and pull to close. Hide the yarn end inside the Body.
LEGS (MAKE 4)

Round 2: Inc around. (12 sts)
Rounds 3-10 (8 rounds): Sc 12.
Stuff the Leg.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the Leg on the Body.
EARS (MAKE 2)
Work in rows.
Row 1: 5sc in a Magic Ring, turn. (5 sts)
Row 2: Ch1 (does not count as a st now and throughout), inc in each st across, turn. (10 sts)
Row 3: Ch1, sc 4, (2hdc in next st)x 2, sc 4. (12 sts)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the Ear on the Body.
TAIL

SNOUT

Stuff the Snout.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the Snout on the Body.
ATTACHING THE SNOUT
Using sewing pins, pin the Snout to the Body, with the top of the Snout at Round 45 of the Body, centered between the Eyes. Using the yarn tail from the Snout, sew the Snout to the Body. Secure the yarn end, then hide it inside the toy.
ATTACHING THE EARS
Pin the Ears above the eyes, between Rounds 34 and 38 of the Body. Using the yarn tails from the Ears, sew each Ear to the Body. Secure the yarn ends, then hide them inside the toy.
ATTACHING THE LEGS
Pin the Legs to the underside of the Body, with the back Legs between Rounds 13 and 16, and the front Legs between Rounds 30 and 33. Using the yarn tails from the Legs, sew each Leg to the Body. Secure the yarn ends, then hide them inside the toy.
ATTACHING THE TAIL
Pin the Tail at the back of the Body, between Rounds 10 and 11 of the Body. Using the yarn tails from the Tail, sew the Tail to the Body. Secure the yarn ends, then hide them inside the toy.
EMBROIDERING THE SMILE
With black cotton yarn, embroider the Smile at Round 2 of the Snout by making one long curved st, spanning 10 sts (see photo in downloadable PDF). Make 2 small sts over top of the previous curved st to secure the curve in place. Secure the yarn ends, then hide them inside the toy.
