CC1: Warm White - 52 yds CC2:
Baby Blue - 1 yd - Hook: US H / 5 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge

Special Stitches
Popcorn Stitch
- Work 4 double crochets in ring.
- Drop working loop from your hook.
- Insert your hook in the 1st dc on your hook.
- Grab the dropped loop with your hook and pull it through the 1st st.
- Tighten the st to create the pc.

OUTSIDE OF HOOK HOLDER
With MC, ch33.
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc across, ch1, turn. (32 sts)
Row 2: Hdc across, ch1, turn. Repeat Row 2 for 8” / 20 cm.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
INSIDE POCKET
Using CC1, ch35.
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc across, ch1, turn. (34 sts)
Row 2: Hdc across, ch1, turn.
Repeat Row 2 for 4” / 10 cm.
Align inside pocket on top of outside piece and sew to sides and bottom.
HOOK SECTIONS
Surface Stitch using MC to create separate pockets to fit hooks.
Fold hook holder in half, folding the outside down towards the back, to determine button loop placement.
BUTTON LOOP
Using CC1, start with a tail, ch12, or long enough to fit around the button. Fasten off with a tail. Attach ch halfway up edge, on back where piece is folded. Insert ch ends to inside and tie tails of ch. Sew button to front of holder.
GRANNY SQUARE – MAKE 1
Round 1: Using CC1, MR, ch3, 3dc in ring, drop loop from hook, insert in 3rd st of ch, pull loop through and tighten st, (ch3, pc in ring) three times, ch3, sl st to join. (4 pcs)
Round 2: Break CC1. Join CC2 in any space, ch3, 2dc, ch3, 3dc in same space, dc in next pc, *(3dc, ch3, 3dc) in next loop, dc in next pc, repeat from * around, sl st to join in 3rd st of ch. (28 sts)
Round 3: Break CC2. Join CC1 in any corner, ch3, (dc, ch2, 2dc) in same space, dc in next 7 dc, *(2dc, ch2, 2dc) in next corner, dc in next 7 sts, repeat from * 2 more times, sl st to join. (44 sts)
FINISHING
Sew granny square to front of holder, and close holder with button closure.
